90. German Percussion Jager Rifle by St. Lutzelber of Suhl. Overall length is 48" with a 32" barrel that is octagon and slightly swamped at the muzzle. It is a 57 caliber deeply rifled barrel. The full stock appears to have a horn tip, the right side of which has a quarter inch break in it that is 2" long. It has three barrel keys made of silver, three silver ramrod pipes, silver trigger guard, butt-plate and patch box. The fancy wood stock is all incised carved between the cheek-piece and the butt-plate. The stock is checkered on the wrist and fore-end. It has a very nice set of set triggers. On the engraved tang is a brass holder for a peep sight. The peep sight itself and the rear sight on the barrel is missing. The back action lock is all engraved as well and the hammer is in the shape of a fish. There is one sling button on the belly of the weapon and at one time it had a sling swivel on the full fore-stock. $799.99.
91. Model 1863 Rifle Musket, Type II aka Model 1864. It has a single leaf rear sight. This gun is Remingtons Ilion, N.Y. It also has the large Eagle with a shield on its chest holding arrows and olive branches in its claws with the letters "U.S." underneath it. There is also an eagle on the bolster and the date 1865 behind the hammer. The silvery-black barrel is marked 1865 near the nipple, V&P with a design on the left hand flat. The barrel has three clamping bands. It appears that the rifling is very sharp and in very nice condition. It comes with its own ramrod. On the left hand side opposite the lock plate, there is extremely sharp acceptance marks, one is "DL" in a square and "OWA" in a square. The stock has about 90% or more of its finish. All and all this is a very fine weapon and probably quite rare by this maker. $2500.00.
92. SOLD No. 600 Benjamin Automatic Air Rifle. This interesting little airgun has a brass pump on the front end at the muzzle. It is 34½" overall with what looks like a walnut stock and brass breech. It obviously has a feed mechanism for BBs and it is a very interesting little gun. The action is sticky and do not know if it will work. $49.99.
93. Second Model Porter Revolving Turret Rifle. This incredibly rare revolving arm uses a vertically mounted radial cylinder or turret that is rotated and locked by the movement of the under lever. This under lever simultaneously cocks the hammer and automatically primes the weapon. This nine-shot weapon has a straight mule-ear side hammer and serpentine loading lever at breech of barrel. As per usual the turret cover is gone. While this weapon looks like a Pill-lock it actually feeds regular percussion caps to the touch hole and smashes them flat detonating the main charge. The serial number on this one is 775. The barrel is silvery-brown with some slight pitting. Both sights are off-set to the left as is usual. The cylinder and mechanism of this fine weapon are in good working condition. The butt-stock is in good shape with 50% of its original finish intact, but with a ½" by 1" section of replaced wood right next to the top of the butt-plate. These guns are as rare as hens teeth. $4500.00.
94. SOLD Very unusual Turkish Blunder Buss meant for a child or a very small woman. Note this is not a breast pistol. The 16½" barrel has an inside diameter that tapers from 5/8ths" to 1¾" inches at the bell muzzle. The outside of the barrel is very nicely engraved and chiseled with inlays that appear to be silver. The lock is unbridled and quite early with a pronounced "banana shape" and is also nicely chiseled and engraved. The very dark brown-black stock is profusely engraved and incised with chisel work and the butt-stock also has very unusual type of checkering. It appears that the trigger guard is a period replacement and does not detract from this pretty little weapons over all condition. Over all length is 24 ½" with a 10" from butt-plate to trigger. $599.99.
95. SOLD Springfield Model 1816 Musket. The barrel is 33½" long with the front double barrel band and the bottom band. It has a very unusual rear sight on a band around the barrel that looks to be either German or Scandinavian. This one has been converted to percussion with part of the brass pan remaining, the lock has an Eagle and U.S. in front of the hammer and the word "Springfield 1833" behind the hammer. Overall condition of the metal is silver with black patches and some pitting. The stock has never been re-finished and has two inspectors marks on the left side. It also has an inspectors mark below the trigger guard. Take this one home and give it tender loving care for only $350.00.
96. Albanian Cavalry Pistol. This 21" over all Miguelet lock pistol is completely covered with brass plates that are engraved. There appears to be silver decorations on the left and right sides of the top of the grip. The barrel goes from octagon to round and is 12½" long and is 64 caliber. This gun is unusual in that it has a fancy turned steel ramrod that is actually usable. Most of these guns had fake ramrods that were unusable as in this part of the world people usually carried the real ramrod on a sash. $499.99 for this gem.
97. SOLD British Holster Pistol. This original flint pistol by Grice has a goose neck hammer and roller on the frizzen. The 11" barrel goes from octagon panels to turnings to round. It has a fancy spider type front sight. The bore is 63 caliber. The trigger guard, butt-plate and the fancy lock plate screw escutcheons appear to be some low grade silver alloy. The butt is fluted with some what of a French style. Both the barrel and lock have stars and crescent moons on them. Since there is no place for a ram rod I assume this is a British gun meant for the Turkish trade. There is one 3½" inch split in the fore-end that can be easily repaired. $375.00.
98. SOLD What is left of a very early flint pistol by the maker Thomas Montal. This pistol is 11¾" over all with a 5 ¾" inch 55 caliber barrel. It has a fish tail nicely engraved butt-cap with sides going up almost to the grip. A fancy brass trigger guard and fancy brass ramrod pipe. The early lock is unbridled and the hammer is goosed necked. Someone has made an incorrect top jaw for the hammer and there is a large piece of wood missing from the front of the lock to the top of the barrel measuring approximately 2". The firearm is missing the side plate. The stock is nicely carved with incised carving. This fine old pistol is well worth restoration. $259.99.
